HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 124-1985RESOLUTION 124-85 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTIONAPPROVING THE 1985-86 APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIIIB OF THE CALIFORNIA CONSITUTIION WHEREAS, Article XIIIB of the California Constitution states that all State and local government budgets are limited to a formula based upon the 1978-79 budget, plus adjustments for cost of living and population changes and specific exceptions for service charges, Federal and State grants, reserve funds, etc.; and ~_/LEAS, Division 9 of Title 1 of the Government Code (beginning with Section 7900) implements Article XIIIB of the California Constitution; and ~RE~$, in accordance with the above, the City of South San Francisco has prepared documentation establishing its 1985-86 appropriation limit and has made this documentation available to the public for more than fifteen (15) days; Nf~, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows: 1. For 1985-86, the City's appropriation limit is $32,479, 562. 2. The preliminary budget for 1985-86 includes $28,943,528 in appropriations which are subject to limit, and estimated proceeds of taxes of $17,704,630. 3. For 1985-86, the City of South San Francisco is within the limits of Article XIIIB of the California Constitution. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a 26th day of June following vote: regular meeting held this , 1985 by the AYES, COUNCILMEMBERS NOES, COUNCILMEMBERS ABSENT, COUNCILMEMBERS Mark N.
