Lease with The Price Company
Dear Walt:
As I indicated to you in our telephone conversation of last week,
I have been advised that The Price Company will not receive all
of its required governmental approvals as provided in paragraph
1D of the Site Preparation Agreement (SPA) until the middle or
end of September, 1985o
Paragraph ID of the SPA provides that the lease agreement termi-
nates if all governmental approvals are not obtained within 120
days of the date of the lease (February 26, 1985). Thus, the
120th day would be June 26, 1985.
Under the c~rcumstances,* The Price Company requests that the City
of South San Francisco agree to extend the 120-day period as
aforementioned to September 30, 1985.
After you or the Mayor have obtained authority from the City
Council, if necessary, 'will you please have the Mayor acknowledge
the City of South San Francisco's agreement to the requested ex-
tension by having him sign the enclosed copy of this letter and
returning same to me.
