CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN
AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE FUNDS
FOR IMPROVEMENT OF THE SENIOR CENTER IN THE
MUNICIPAL SERVICES BUILDING
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that:
1. Approval of Amendment.
The Amendment entitled "Amendment to Agreement to Provide Funds for
Improvement of the Senior Center in the Municipal Services Building" which
extends the term of that certain Agreement from July 1, 1985 to June 30, 1986,
between the County of San Mateo and the City of South San Francisco is hereby
approved, and a copy of said Amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit "A."
2. Execution of Amendment.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment to Agreement
on behalf of the City, and the City Clerk attest his signature thereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the lOth day of July , 1985, by the following

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT
TO AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT
OF THE SENIOR CENTER
IN THE MUNICIPAL SERVICES BUILDING IN THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State o
CaUfornia, that
WHEREAS, the County o! San Mateo desires to provide Community Developmen
Block Grant funds for the improvement o! the Senior Center in the Municipal Service
Building in the City o! South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, the City o! South San Francisco has entered into a Cooperatio
Agreement with the County establishing the formal relationship to cooperate and ce
participate in the County's Housing and Community Development Block Grant prograrr
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco and the County have previously entere
into an Agreement, dated October 2, 198~, for the purpose of providing funds [¢
improvement of the senior center; and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board o! Supervisors for il
consideration and acceptance an amendment to an agreement for provision of Count
HCD funds for the improvement of the senior center, reference to which is hereby mad
for full particulars, and the Board of Supervisors has examined and approved the same ~
to form and content and desires to enter into same;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT 1S HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Cha
of this Board of Supervisors be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to execul
said agreement for and on behalf o! the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of the Bom
shall attest her signature thereto.

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR
IMPROVEMENT OF THE SENIOR CENTER IN THE
MUNICIPAL SERVICES BUILDING
THIS AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT, entered into this 20th day of August ,
198~, between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, a political subdivision o! the State o!
California, hereinafter referred to as *'County" and the CITY OF SOUTH SAN:
FRANCISCO, a duly incorporated city within the County of San Mateo, hereinafter
referred to as "City~.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the County and City have previously entered Into an Agreement to
Provide Funds for Improvement o! the Senior Center in the Municipal Services Building,
dated October 2, 198t~; and
WHEREAS, the County and City desire to amend certain terms o! said Agreement;
NOV/, THEREFORE, the Agre,e, ment is hereby amended as follows:
Paragraph 2 is deleted and is substituted with the following:
2. Contract Term: This contract shall commence on 2uly 1~ 198t~ and shall
terminate on :June 30, 1986.
All other terms and conditions remain as originally set forth.
