CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION RULING ON WRITTEN AND ORAL
OBJECTIONS TO TtlE PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT
PLAN FOR THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO U.S.
STEEL PLANT SITE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Plan for the South San Francisco U.S.
Steel Plant Site Redevelopment Project has been prepared by the South San
Francisco Redevelopment Agency~ and
IJHEREAS, on July 10, 1985, a duly noticed joint public hearing on
the proposed Redevelopment Plan was conducted by the City Council and the
South San Francisco Redevelopment Agency; and
~¢ttEREAS, the City Council has heard and considered all evidence,
bo'~h written and oral, presented in support and in opposition to the adoption
of the Redevelopment Plan for the Project.
NO, J, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that:
The City Council finds that all persons objecting to the proposed
Redevelopment Plan for the South San Francisco U.S. Steel Plant Site
Redevelopment Project or to the regularity of the prior proceedings with
respect to the proposed Redevelopment Plan have been heard or have filed
such objections in writing, or have had the opportunity to be heard or to
fi~le objections in writing, and that having heard and reviewed such oral and
written objections this City Council is not persuaded that such objections
offer compelling reasons to change or to not adopt the Redevelopment Plan
as proposed.
The City Council and the South San Francisco Redevelopment
Agency have duly complied with all the provisions, requirements and
procedures of Articles 4 and 4.5 (coninencing with Section 33330) of
Chapter 4 of the California Community Redevelopment Law relating to the
preparation and adoption of the Redevelopment Plan for the South San
Francisco Redevelopment Project.
The City Council, accordingly, overrules any and all objections
to the adoption of the Redevelopment Plan for the South San Francisco U.S.
Steel Plant Site Redevelopment Project.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the lOth day of_J_u_ty__, ]_985_
by the following vote:
