CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CHANGE OF
NAME OF STREET - A PORTION OF SOUTH
AIRPORT BOULEVARD TO AIRPORT BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, it has' been recommended that, in order to avoid confusion, a
portion of South Airport Boulevard should be renamed "Airport Boulevard"; and
WHEREAS, the portion of South Airport Boulevard for which the foregoing
name change has been suggested is described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
by this reference incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 34091.1 authorizes a legislative body to
adopt a resolution designating a name for, or change of name of, a street when
said legislative body finds that the name should be adopted or chang, ed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The City Council finds that the portion of South Airport Boulevard
-described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and previously incorporated by reference
herein should be changed to Airport Boulevard in order to avoid confusion.
2. It is hereby ordered that the portion of the 100 block of South Airport
Boulevard located between the Southern Pacific Railroad Overcrossing and the
intersection of San Mateo Avenue and Produce Avenue as shown on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto shall be renamed "Airport Boulevard" and shall be renumbered
as the "Unit" block of Airport Boulevard (i.e, addresses 1 through 99).
3. The City Clerk of the City of South San Francisco shall forward a copy
of this resolution to the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo,
the San Mateo County Clerk and the San Mateo County Surveyor.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 14th day of August , 1985, by the following
vote:
