CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING JAMES E. HALL
WHEREAS, JAMES HALL, after faithfully serving the City of South San Fran-
cisco as a Mechanic Helper in the City Garage for seventeen (17) years, is
retiring on September 3, 1985; and
WHEREAS, Jim has performed such duties as welding, brake work, wiring, and
servicing mechanical equipment; and
WHEREAS, he originated motorcycle repairs for the City, which services were
previously contracted out to private companies; and
WHEREAS, he has maintained City equipment and vehicles for more than seven-
teen (17) years of service and his dedication to the job and concern for qualitg
will be sorely missed; and
WHEREAS, he has served the City as Garage Safety Committee Chairman and
Secretary, as well as on the Board of Directors of the South San Francisco
Credit Union; and
WHEREAS, Jim is an active Deputy Sheriff in the San Mateo County Sheriff's
Office/Reserves; and
WHEREAS, Jim plans to share his dream of retirement with his lovely wife
Mary in their newly built home in Idaho, and continue with his hobbies of fish-
ing, woodwork, photograph~, and repairing motorcgcles;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that it does hereby express appreciation to James E. Hall for his
dedicated services to the City of South San Francisco and does order this Reso-
lution incorporated in the official records of the Cit~ as this Council's
expression of appreciation and its wishes for his long and happy retirement.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted bg the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 14th day of August
