HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 179-1985 RESOLUTION 179~85 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE SALARY AND BENEFITS FOR THE POSITIONS OF COORDINATOR OF LABOR RELATIONS AND COORDINATOR OF PERSONNEL SERVICES AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT BY AMENDING THE UNIT #1 MANAGEMENT EMP- LOYEES MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1, 1984 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1985 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding with Unit #1 Management Employees for the period July 1, 1984 through June 30, 1985, ~ copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference as if set forth verbatim, is hereby accepted and approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and is hereby authorized to endorse on Page I of the signature page of said Memorandum of Understanding the following: "Approved by City Council Resolution No~79-85qdopted August 21, 1985" I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an adj. reqular meeting held on the 21st day of August following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Haffey ATTEST: ~(City Clerk)~ EXHIBIT "A" TO RESOLUTION NO. 179-85 AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN~'- THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND THE UNIT #1 MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1, 1984 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1985 1) The City Council approved allocation of two (2) full time un-classified positions of Coordinator of Labor Relations and Coordinator of Personnel Services'and Employee Development as Part of the Personnel Division re- organization plan. 2) On August 14, 1985 after properly posting notices to all interested parties and affording them the opportunity to meet and discuss the matter with the City's Municipal Employee Relations Officer, Unit #1 was modified by Council action to include the classifications of Coordinator Qf Labor Relations and Coordinator of Personnel Services and Employee Develop- ment. 3) The Department of Community Development and Administration has now established the salary ranges for the Coordinator of Labor Relations and Coordinator of Personnel Services and Employee Development positions. .4) In order to appropriately establish the salary for the positions Coordinator of Labor Relations and Coordinator of Personnel Services and Employee Development, the representatives of the City and the repre- sentatives of Unit #1 have met and conferred and have agreed to amend the Unit #1 Management Employees Memorandum of Understanding for the period of July 1, 1984 through June 30, 1985. It is therefore agreed that the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of South San Francisco and the Unit #1 Management Employees for the period of July 1, 1984 through June 30, 1985 shall be amended to include the following classifications and salary ranges on Page 2 of Appendix A: COORDINATOR OF LABOR RELATIONS AND COORDINATOR OF PERSONNEL SERVICES AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT (JUNE 29, 1~84) A B C D E Hourly 14.96 15.7I ~' 16.50 17.33 18.20 Weekly 598.40 628.40 660.00 693.20 728.00 Bi-weekly 1,196.80. 1,256.80 1,320.00 1,386.40 1,456.00.
