A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE VACATION OF
A TEN FOOT (10') WIDE PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY
LOCATED BETWEEN 139 DUVAL DRIVE AND 88
ARLINGTON
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco as
follows:
1. The City Council on the
adopted Resolution No. 51-8§
13th day of March , 1985 .
, entitled "A Resolution of intention to Vacate
a ten foot (10') wide pedestrian walkway located between 139 Duval Drive and 88
Arlington
which Resolution recited that the proceedings were undertaken to the Public Streets,
Highways and Service Easement Vacation Law (commencing with Section 8300 of the
Streets and Highways Code) and which Resolution of Intention was duly published
as required by law, and notices of hearing were duly posted in the time, manner
and form provided by law, all as appears from the affidavit of publication and
the affidavit of posting on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
2. Wednesday , the 10th day of April , 19 85 at the hour
of 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo
Drive, South San Francisco, Californa, was fixed in said Resolution of Intention
as the time and place when and where any and all persons interested in, or having
any objections to, said proposed vacation, were to appear before said Council and
be heard.
3. One objection was made against said vacation and was considered by the
City Council.
4. The City Council finds that the street right-of-way which is described
in said Resolution of Intention and which is more particularly described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein as though
set forth verbatim, is unnecessary for present or prospective public use except
for the reservation of a Public Service Easement as defined in Section 8306 of
the Streets and Highways Code located throughout the entire area of the street
right-of-way to be vacated.
5. The street right-of-way is hereby ordered vacated except for the reser-
vation of a Public Service Easement as defined in Section 8306 of the Streets and
Highways Code throughout the entire area of the street right-of-way as described
in Exhibit "A."
6. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution and Order,
attested under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office of the Recorder
of the County of San Mateo.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the lOth day of April , 19 85 , by the following
vote:

Block 1 as shown on the Final Map uf the Winston Manor Sub-
division, filed for Record at Book 32, of Maps, at Pages 28
and 29 of the San Mateo County Records.
