CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING
AMENDMENT TO THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDER-
STANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO AND UNIT #1, MANAGEMENT
EMPLOYEES TO ESTABLISH THE SALARY AND
BENEFITS FOR THE POSITION OF SR. CIVIL
ENGINEER
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding
with the Unit #1 Management Employees for the period including
July 1, 1984~through June 31, 1985, a copy of which is attached
as if set forth verbatim, is hereby accepted and approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and is
hereby authorized to endorse on Page 1 of the signature page
of said Memorandum of Understanding the following:
"Approved by City Council Resolution No.
May 8 , 1985."

AGREEMENT TO AMEND THE MEMORANDUM
OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND UNIT #1
MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES FOR THE PERIOD
JULY 1, 1984 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1985
The City Council did approve budgeting of two Senior
Civil Engineer positions in the 1984-85 budget. The City is
now desirious of establishing the salary and benefits for the
newly created classification of Senior Civil Engineer.
The representatives of the City and the representatives
of Unit #1 have met and conferred and have agreed to amend the
Memorandum of Understanding between the City and Unit #1 for
the period including July 1, 1984 through June 30, 1985 in
order to establish the salary and benefits for the classification
of Sr. Civil Engineer.
It is therefore agreed that the Memorandum of Understanding
between the City and the Unit #1 Management Employees for the period
including July 1, 1984 through June 30, 1985 shall be amended
to include the following Classification and salary:

The City and Unit #1 Agree to the Amendments as expressly
stated herein and except as herein modified, all other provisions,
terms and conditions of the Memorandum of Understanding shall remain
in effect.
