CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO AND CALLING A JOINT
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO U.S. STEEL PLANT SITE
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco
has consented to and requested that the City Council call a joint public hearing
of the Agency and the City Council to consider and act upon the Proposed
Redevelopment Plan for the South San Francisco U.S. Steel Plant Site
Redevelopment Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges receipt of the proposed
Redevelopment Plan and the accompanying Agency's Report to City Council; and
WHEREAS, Section 33355 of the California Community Redevelopment Law
IHealth and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) authorizes a joint public hearing
on the proposed Redevelopment Plan with consent of the Agency and the City
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The City Council hereby consents to and, at the request of the
Agency, calls a joint public hearing of the Agency and the City Council in the
Municipal Services Building, Community Room, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San
Francisco, California, to consider and act upon the proposed Redevelopment Plan
for the South San Francisco U.S. Steel Plant Site Redevelopment Project and all
documents and evidence pertaining thereto. The date of such public hearing
shall be July 10, 1985 at 7:30 p.m. as set by the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk of the City of South San Francisco shall, in
cooperation with the Executive Director of the Agency, prepare, publish and mail
such notices and documents, and do all other acts as may be necessary to carry
out the purposes of this resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 12th day of June, 1985 by the following vote:
