CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,'STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO
DONALD R. CORDO
WHEREAS, Don Cordo has served as a Personnel Board Member of the City
of South San Francisco for six and one-half (6-1/2) years; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure he has served as Chairman of the Board in 1984;
and
WHEREAS, since his appointment on June 5, 1978, Don Cardo has faithfully
and dedicatedly served the City until December 31, 1984; and
WHEREAS, Don Cordo is an active member of the Elks Club, All Souls Mens
Club and School Board, the Young Men's Institute and the South San Francisco
Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, Don Cordo has contributed to the welfare of this community
through his activities and participation as a Personnel Board Member, and
City Council desires to express appreciation to him for said services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the City Council does hereby commend and express apprecia-
tion to Don Cordo for his contribution to the City's progress and welfare
through his service as a Personnel Board Member, through which he unselfishly
gave his time, interest and effort to advance and better this community, and
by which he established a high standard of civic conduct worthy of emulation
by those who desire to contribute to the welfare of this community.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 13th day of February , 1985, by
the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, Emanuele N. Damonte, Richard A. Haffey;
~nd Rnberta Cerri Teglia
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmember Gus Nicolopulos
