HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 60-1985 RESOLUTION NO. 60-85 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION CO'ENDING KENNETH HOLLOWAY WHEREAS, Kenneth Holloway, served for more than thirteen (13) years as an employee in the Department of Public Works of the City of South San Francisco, during which period he faithfully served the City, having been first employed on January 2, 1972; and WHEREAS, during his tenure as a Maintenance Worker II, Kenneth performed semi-skilled duties in the construction field, including carpentry, asphalt, traffic painting and sewer work; and WHEREAS, Kenneth served on the Department Safety Committee, and in his spare time pursues his favorite hobbies of hunting and woodworking; and WHEREAS, he is a knowledgeable and dependable worker with a pleasant disposition, always willing to teach his skills to his fellow employees; and WHEREAS, Ken's dream of retirement is a long and prosperous life in which he can pursue his hobbies and visit Arkansas, his place of birth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the Council does hereby express appreciation to Kenneth Holloway for his dedicated services to the City of South San Francisco and does order this Resolution incorporated in the official records of the City as this Council's expression of appreciation and its wishes for his long and happy retirement. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 27th day of March , 1985, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, Emanuele N. Damonte, Richard A. Haffey, Gus Nicolopulos~ and Roberta Cerri Teglia NOES: None ABSENT: None City Clerk -2-
