HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3869-1964RESOLUTION NO. 3869 CiTY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO CONSENT TO CANCELLATION OF TAXES ON PROPERTY ACQUIRED FOR PUBLIC USE AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF SAN MATEO COUNTY TO AUTHORIZE CANCELLATION OF COUNTY TAXES AND THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY TO CONSENT THERETO BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that: WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco acquired certain parcels of real property for public purposes, to wit: street and highway purposes, and said parcel is here- inafter more particularly described, and WHEREAS, the City Council of said City desires to autho- rize the City Attorney to consent to the cancellation of taxes pursuant to Section 4986 of the Revenue and Taxation COde of the State of California, and, further, requests the Board of Super- visors for the County of San Mateo to authorize cancellation of County taxes and the District Attorney of said County to consent thereto, NOW, THEREFORE, it is ordered that: (1) The City Attorney of the City of South San Fran- cisco is authorized to consent to cancellation of taxes on thSs~parcel of real property acquired for public purpose, to wit: street and highway purposes, said site being parti- cularly described as follows: Code 13-1 Par. 015-063-17 .12 Ac Mol being Sely Ptn of Parcel 29 ASSESSORS MAP OF S S F 26 CITY OF SO SAN FRANCISCO (2) That this Resolution be filed with the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo and the District Attorney of the County of San Mateo, and be deemed a request to said Board of Supervisors and District Attorney to autho- rize and consent, respectively to cancellation of taxes on said parcel o~ real property.
