CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF NOTICE OF IN-
TENTION TO CIRCULATE A PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION
OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS WESTBOROUGH INHABITED
AREA AND AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION THEREOF
WHEREAS, on March 12, 1964 , there was
filed with the City Clerk of the City of South San Francisco
a copy of a Notice of Intention to circulate a petition re-
lating to annexation of certain territory to the City of
South San Francisco, under the Annexation Act of 1913, per-
taining to territory designated as "Westborough Inhabited
Area", accompanied by a written statement containin~ reasons
for the petition together with an Affidavit of Publication
of said Notice iu The South San Francisco Enterprise-Journal,
a newspaper of general circulation printed and published
weekly in the City of South San Francisco, County of San
Mateo, State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that
the legislative body may adopt a resolution acknowledEing
receipt of the Notice and approving the circulation of the
petition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco:
1. That the receipt of the Notice, Statement and
Affidavit is hereby acknowledged, and that approval is hereby
~iven for the circulation of the petition for annexation of
that certain territory designated as "Westborough Inhabited
Area", twenty-one days after the publication of said Notice
and Statement.
2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
