CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM (WITH ISLANDS)
SOUTH AIRPORT BOULEVARD AND
SAN MATEO AVENUE INTERSECTION
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council
and published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined
and declared on the ~?th day of Ma~nh ,
1964 for the work to be done and the improvement to be
made as described and specified in Resolution No. ~819
entitled, "A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AUTHORIZING THE WORK AND CALLING FOR BIDS ON THE IMPROVEMENT
OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM (WITH ISLANDS) SOUTH AIRPORT BOULE-
VARD AND SAN MATEO AVENUE INTERSECTION".
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said
proposals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and
hereby awards the contract for doing the work and improvements
and furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment necessary
therefor to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
Stein~ and Mltchel, Inc.
at the unit prices named in their bid.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized
to make and enter into a written contract with said success-
ful bidder, and to authorize, receive and approve all bonds
in connection therewith, and the City Clerk of said City is
hereby directed to attest his signature and affix thereto
the corporate seal of said City.
