HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3909-1964RESOLUTION NO. 3909 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION VACATING A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT OVER LOTS 13, 14, 29, 30 AND 31 OF BLOCK 16, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 3 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that: WHEREAS, a public utility easement was dedicated to the City of South San Francisco by a certain subdivision map en- titled "South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit No. 3, filed for record on July 11, 1958, in Book 49 of Maps at pages 25, 26, 27 and 28, San Mateo County Records, and, WHEREAS, said ten (10) foot public utility easement has not been used for the purposes for which it was dedicated or acquired for five consecutive years next preceding this date, nor in fact was said easement ever used after its dedication. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that: 1. The ten (10) foot public utility easement described as follows be vacated and abandoned: Easements for public utility purposes over all that certain real property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and being those certain Public Utility Easements shown within Lots 13, 14, 29, 30 and 31, Block 16, on that certain Map entitled "South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit No. 3" filed for record on July 11, 1958, in Book 49 of Maps at pages 25, 26, 27 and 28 San Mateo County Records, said easements being more particularly described as follows: Those certain 10 foot Public Utility Easements lying on each side of the line dividing said lots 30 and 31 and also on each side of the line divid- ing said lots 13 and 14, also that certain 20 foot Public Utility Easement which lies within said lot 29 a distance of 10 feet on each side of the south- easterly prolongation of said line dividing lots 13 and 14. 2. Said vacation and abandonment shall not release, vacate or abandon any other easements granted or in use. 3. The City Clerk record the required documents to clear said easement from the record title.
