CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE CITY OF
SAN FRANCISCO FOR ITS EFFORTS TO
MAKE THE UNITED NATIONS 20TH ANNIVER-
SARY MEMORIAL MEETING A SUCCESS AND
URGING THE GOVERNING BODIES, CIVIC
ORGANIZATIONS AND RESIDENTS OF THE
PENINSULA TO ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT
SAN FRANCISCO'S EFFORTS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The City Council does commend the City of San Fran-
cisco and its civic leaders for efforts being made on behalf
of the United Nations 20th AnniverSary Memorial Meeting planned
for June 24, 25 and 26, 1965.
2. The City Council does recommend to the citizens of
the City of South San Francisco that they support the efforts
of the City of San Francisco in this regard.
3. The City Council does urge that the cities of the
Peninsula encourage the efforts of the City of San Francisco
by lending their support to San Francisco's efforts in this
regard.
