CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A PERMIT TO MAR3L EX-
CAVATED EARTH TO ARTHUR HASKINS, INC.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that a permit to haul excavated earth be issued
to Arthur Haskins, Inc., to hau~ 7500 cubic yards of ex-
cavated earthem material from the See's Candy Company
site on Spruce Avenue at E1 C=mino Real to the building site
on Eccles Avenue at Butler Road, said hauling to be by way
of Spruce Avenue to Victory, then easterly on Victory to
Linden, then northerly on Linden to Baden, them easterly
on Baden to Airport Boulevard, then northerly on Airport
Boulevard to Grand Avenue, then easterly on Grand to Eccles,
then northerly on Eccles to the building site at Eccles and
Butler Road upon his filing in the office of the City Clerk
a bond in the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000) to indemnify
City for any damage which he may do to sidewalks or pavements
or sewers, .and said bond shall also provide for indemnifying
the City for cost of removing from sidewalks or pavements all
earth or material as may have fallen or spilled from his trucks
and such bond shall inure to the benefit of the City and shall
give City the right of action thereon in the event he fails
to remove the earth or material from the sidewalks or pave-
ments or repair any sidewalks or pavements or sewers damaged
in conducting said hauling operation.
