CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS AND
DECLARING RESULTS OF THE GENERAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ON APRIL 14,
1964
WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held in and
throughout the City of South San Francisco on the 14th day
of April, 1964, for the election of three (3) members of
the City Council, a City Clerk and a City Treasurer of said
City, and,
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has duly presented to the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco all the returns
of the votes cast at said municipal election, and,
WHEREAS, said City Council has inspected and examined
all said returns.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
said City that said Council finds as follows:
That the total number of votes cast in said City of
South San Francisco is five thousand thirty-eight (5038).
That the names of persons voted for at said general
municipal election are as follows:
(a) As regularly nominated candidates:
FRANK J. BERTUCELLI, Incumbent
EMILIO CORTESI, Incumbent
GUIDO J. ROZZI, Incumbent
DAVID BABA, Life Insurance Agent
ARTHUR A. RODONDI, Incumbent
JOHN J. BONALANZA, Banker-Assistant

RESULTS OF SAID MUNICIPAL ELECTION
That the record of the votes cast at said municipal
election in favor of said candidates, as shown by the official
count at each of the several precincts established throughout
said City by said City Council for the purpose of conducting
said election is as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto, the
same being a tabulation of the votes by precincts.
That the votes cast at said general municipal election
in favor of said candidates by absentee ballot as shown at
the official count are as follows:
For the office of City Councilman:

For the office of City Clerk:

That the City Council of said City hereby declares as
follows:
That Frank J. Bertucelli, Emilio Cortesi and Guido J.
Rozzi were duly elected at said municipal election as members
of the City Council of said City; that Arthur A. Rodondi was
duly elected at said municipal election as City Clerk of said
City; and that John J. Bonalanza was duly elected at said
municipal election as City Treasurer of said City.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of said
City shall, and he is hereby ordered to, issue Certificates
of Election as follows:
To Frank J. Bertucelli, Emilio Cortesi and Guido J.
Rozzi as members of the City Council of said City;
To Arthur A. Rodondi as City Clerk of said City, and
To John J. Bonalanza as City Treasurer of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco held in accordance with
applicable sections of the Election Code requiring canvass
of returns and issuance of certificates, and further in ac-
cordance with applicable sections of the Government Code re-
garding organization of the City Council held this
day of April ,1964 , by the following vote:
