CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION GRANTING A GRADING PER-
MIT TO CABOT, CABOT & FORBESrCALIF-
ORNIA PROPERTIES, INC.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the Director of Public Works having filed
a report of his recommendations on the application of Cabot,
Cabot & Forbes California Properties, Inc. for a Grading
Permit, the City Council hereby authorizes the City Clerk
to issue to Cabot, Cabot & Forbes California Properties, Inc.
a Grading Permit to grade the property to wit: As shown on
the plan entitled "Grading Plan; Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, In-
dustrial Park Unit #1 dated April 23, 1964, labeled Exhibit
"A" of the Grading Application dated April 27, 1964". Said
Grading Permit shall provide that the grading be done in ac-
cordance with the application and plan and the recommendations
and report of the Director of Public Works, which is hereby
referred to and by this reference made a part hereof, and
which is set forth in an Inter-Office Memorandum of the Di-
rector of Public Works to the City Council dated April 29,
1964, Subject: Grading Permit - Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, In-
dustrial Park Unit #1. Said Permit shall contain provisions
indemnifying and holding the City, its elective officials,
officers and employees harmless from claims and further re-
quiring conduction of the grading work in a manner that it
will not injure the property in the vicinity of the land
to be graded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
collect the cost of defraying the expense of the examination
and the report by the Director of Public Works in the sum
of Ten and no/lO0 Dollars ($ 10.00 ) prior
to issuing the Permit, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works
shall ascertain by inspection that said grading is performed
in accordance with the PermiC and upon its completion shall
file with the City Clerk a report stating the results of
said inspection and certifying that the grading has been per-
formed in accordance with the Permit.
