HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3931-1964RESOLUTION NO. 3931 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE VACATION OF CHRISTENSEN AVENUE IN SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO INDUSTRIAL PARK NO. 3 RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, and this Council does hereby find, order and determine that 1. The City Council did on the 16th day of March , 19 64 , adopt its Resolution No. 3895 of Intention to vacate Christensen Avenue in South San Francisco Industrial Park No. 3, more particularly herein- after described. 2. Said Resolution recited that proceedings were undertaken pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941. 3. Said Resolution of Intention was duly published as required by law, and notices of its passage entitled "NOTICE OF PROPOSED VACATION OF CHRISTENSEN AVENUE IN SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO INDUSTRIAL PARK NO. 3" were fully posted in the time, manner and form provided by law, all as appear from the affidavit of publication and posting on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. 4. Monday, the 4th day of May , 19 ~ , at the hour of 8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Grand and Maple Avenues, South San Francisco, California, were fixed in said Resolution of Intention as the time and place when and where any and all persons interested in, or having any objections to, said proposed vacation, may appear before said Council and be heard. 5. The street, right-of-way or easement to be vacated is described as follows: Ail that certain real property situate in the City of South San~Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, described as follows: Christensen Avenue as said avenue is shown on that certain map entitled "SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 3, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA," as said map was recorded July 11, 1958, in Volume 49 of Maps at pages.25, 26, 27 and 28, San Mateo County Records. 6. No objections of any kind or character have been, or were, made or filed against proposed vacation. 7. It is to the interest and convenience of the City of South San Francisco that Said Christensen Avenue in South San Francisco Industrial Park No. 3 be, and hereby is, vacated. 8. The City Clerk of said City shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution and order, attested under the seal of said City, to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo.
