CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY'S PAR-
TICIPATION IN THE CHESTNUT AVENUE
EXTENSION DEVELOPMENT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that participation in the Chestnut
Avenue extension development to be undertaken by the County
of San Mateo as set forth in Exhibit "At' attached hereto
entitled "Purpose for Contribution to Chestnut Avenue ExtenSion"
is hereby authorized, and the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars
($50,000) as sen forth in said Exhibit is hereby appropriated,
said sum to be forwarded to the County of San Mateo in ac-
cordance with the terms as set forth in Exhibit ~A~.

PURPOSE FOR CONTRIBUTION TO CHEST~UT AVE~NUE EXTENSION
Contribution is for the purpose of initiating
immediately plannin_~ and en~ineerin~ for the construc-
tion of the Chestnut Avenue extension between E1 Camino
Real and Junipero Serra Freeway Interchanye at Westbor-
ouyh Boulevard, which construction is to be undertaken
at the earliest possible date by the County of San Mateo
at no further cost to the City of So~th San Francisco,
except for that portion that lies east of West 0rar~e
Avenue.
