HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3956-1964RESOLUTION NO. ~956 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO PAC- IFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY AND PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that 1. The City grants to Pacific Gas and Electric Company and The Pacific Telephone And Telegraph Company, California corporations, hereinafter called Pacific Gas and Pacific Telephone, respectively, when referred to individually and second parties when referred to jointly, the right and privilege from time to time of erecting, inspecting, replac- ing, mmintaining and using a single line of poles with such wires and cables as second parties may suspend therefrom and all necessary and proper guys, anchors, crossarms and braces and other fixtures, for transmitting and distributing by Pacific Gas of electric energy and for rendering by Pacific Telephone of communication services respectively, together with a right of way therefor, over and across those certain premises situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, which are described as follows, viz: "Beginning at the l~-inch iron pipe, with a tag marked "R.E. 6145," marking the most easter- ly oorner of that certain parcel of land des- cribed and designated PARCEL 1 in the deed from South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company to Marco Senaldi and his wife, dated May 28, 1954, and recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said San Marco County in Book 2593 of Official Records at page 600, and running thence South 25°31' East 40.22 feet; thence South 54o25' 50" West 463.03 feet; thence South 75o12, West 39.06 feet; thence North 0o06, Wast 75.00 feet to the southwest corner of said parcel of land described and designated PARCEL 1 in, said deed dated May 28, 1954; thence along the southerly and southeasterly boundary lines of said parcel of land designated PAR- CEL 1 in said deed dated May 28, 1954 North 89o27' East 73.55 feet; thence North 53o27' O8" East 402.87 feet to the point of beginning." The route of said line of poles across said pre- mises shall be as follows: Within a strip of land of the uniform width of 20 feet, extending southeasterly from the northwesterly boundary line of said premises, and lying equally on each side of a line which begins at a point in said northwesterly boundary of said premises from which said l~-inch iron pipe, with a tag marked "R.E. 6145" bears North 53o27'O8'' East 10.19 feet distant, and running thence South 25o31' East 24.71 feet; thence South 55°43'O8'' West 358.53 feet; thence North 85o49' 52" West 15.38 feet to a point in said north- westerly boundary line of the above described premises. The side lines of said strip of land shall be lengthened or shortened at the termini thereof so as to terminate in said northwesterly boundary line of the above described premises. 2. The Council does hereby authorize the execution of a grant of said easement dated the l~bh day of May 19 64 , and does further authorize the Mayor of the City of South San Francisco to execute and acknowledge said grant easement.
