CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM MODIFICATION
AND RAILROAD PREEMPTION INSTALLATION
AT EAST GRAND AVENUE
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council
and published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined and
declared on the 6bh day of March , 19.64 .... , for
the work to be done and the improvement to be made as described
and specified in Resolution No.3868 entitled "A RESOLUTION
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZING THE WORK AND
CALLING FOR BIDS ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM
MODIFICATION AND RAILROAD PREEMPTION INSTALLATION AT EAST
GRAND AVENUE".
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED THAT:
1. Said Council does hereby reject all of said proposals
or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards
the contract for doin§ the work and improvements and furnish-
ing the materials, supplies and equipment necessary therefor
to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
L. H. Leona~dl Elecbric Cons~rucbion Co.
at the unit prices named in their bid.
2. The M~yor of said City is hereby authorized to make
and enter into a written contract with said successful bidder,
and to authorize, receive and approve all bonds in connection
therewith, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed
to attest his signature andaffix thereto the corporate seal
of said City.
