HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3971-1964RESOLUTION NO. 3971 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT WITH- IN LOT 29, BLOCK 16, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO.3 BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of South San Francisco as follows: 1. This Resolution of Intention is adopted pursuant to the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Section 50430, of the Government Code. 2. The public interest and convenience require, and it is the intention of this Council, to vacate and abandon the public service easement described as follows: "That certain ten feet public utility easement lying within Lot 29, Block 16, as said lot and block are shown on that certain map entitled "SOUTH SAN FRANCIS- CO INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO.3, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA", filed for record on July 11, 1958, in Book 49 of Maps at pages 25 to 28, San Marco County Records." 3. Reference is hereby made to the map entitled "An- chor and P. U. Easement to be abandoned, South San Francisco Industrial Park No.3, South San Francisco, San Mateo County, California'', dated June 1958, on file in the office of the City Clerk for particulars as to said easement to be abandoned. 4. Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 6~h day of July , 196~ , at 8 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers, City Hall, South San Francisco, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all persons in- terested in, or having objections to, the proposed vacation of the public utility easement lying within Lot 29, Block 16, South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit No.3, SoUth San Francisco, San Mateo County, California, as herein- before described, may appear before said Council and be heard. 5. Notice of the vacation of said public utility easement shall be posted conspicuously along the line of said easement or part thereof to be vacated at least ten (10) days prior to the date set for hearing, and said No- tice shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart, and not less than three (3) of said Notices shall be posted. 6. Notice of the vacation of the public utility easement hereinbefore described shall be published in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation, published in the City of South San Francisco, and said No- tice shall be published at least two (2) successive weeks prior to the hearing. 7. A copy of this Resolution shall be submitted to the Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco for its report and recommendation in accordance with Section 5435 of the Government Code.
