HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3972-1964RESOLUTION NO.B972 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION VACATING ANCHOR EASEMENTS - SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 3 BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that: WHEREAS, certain anchor easements for public utility purposes over the property hereinafter described were dedic- ated to the City of South San Francisco on the 2nd day of June , 19 28 by that certain map entitled "South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit No.3, South San Francisco, San Mateo County, California", which map was filed for record on July 11, 1958, in Book 49 of Maps at pages 25 to 28, San Mateo County Records, and, WHEREAS, said anchor easements have not been used for the purpose for which said easements were granted nor is it necessary for present or prospective use to maintain or keep said easements. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED THAT: 1. The anchor easements dedicated by that certain map entitled "South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit No.3, South San Francisco, San Mateo County, California", filed for re- cord on July 11, 1958, in Book 49 of Maps at pages 25 to 28, San Mateo County Records, described as follows, are hereby vacated and abandoned: "That certain 3 feet by 30 feet anchor easement lying in Lot 31, Block 16, and that certain 3 feet by 20 feet anchor easement lying in Lot 29, Block 16, as said lots and blocks are shown on that certain map entitled "South San Francisco Industrial Park, Unit No.3, South San Francisco, San Mateo County, California" filed for record on July 11, 1958, Book 49 of Maps at pages 25 to 28, San Mateo County Records." 2. Said easements are not necessary for present or prospective public use and the public interest, convenience and necessity require the abandonment of said easements. 3. The City Clerk of said City shall cause a certi- fied copy of this Resolution and order, attested under the seal of said City, to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the regular meeting , 1964 , by the City of South San Francisco at a held on the 15th day of June following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN NOES, " ABSENT, " Patrick E.
