B975 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ENGINEER AND ATTORNEYS INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 3 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that WHEREAS, this Council has found it necessary to make changes and'modifications in the work to be done pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 2681 adopted by this Council on July 21, 1958, and the engineers and attorneys formerly appointed in this matter have fully completed the work assigned therein to them~ and WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served by appointing and employing engineers and attorneys for the preparation and conduct of said proceedings and work in connection with said changes and modifications in the acquisitions and improve- ments; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. That Wilsey, Ham & Blair, San Mateo, California, be appointed and employed as Engineer of Work to do and perform all engineering work necessary in and for said proceedings, including all preliminary surveying~ preparation of plans, profiles~ specifi- cations, estimate of costs~ diagram, assessment~ setting grade stakes, supervision of work, preparing, signing and filing the list of unpaid assessments~ and that its compensation be, and it is hereby fixed, at the customary amount paid therefor by the City, to be assessed as an incidental expense of said proceedings. That the Public Works Director of said City be authorized and directed to examine and approve said engineering documents, to provide the inspection during the progress of said work, and to accept said work when done to his satisfaction, and that the actual cost thereof shall be assessed upon said district as an incidental expense of said proceedings. 2. That the law firm of Wilson, Harzfeld~ Jones & Morton, San Mateo, California, be appointed and employed to do and perform all legal services required in the conduct of said proceedings, including the preparation of all papers, exclusive of printing, not required to be prepared by the Engineer~ examining and approving the engineering documents and advising the engineers in the prepara- tion of their work, advising all City officials on all matters relating thereto when called upon, assisting in the sale of the bonds to be issued upon the unpaid assessments thereof, and furnish- ing their legal opinion as to the validity of said proceedings and bonds, and that their compensation be fixed at the reasonable value of their services~ to be assessed as an incidental expense of said proceedings.
