CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE TO THE COUNTY OF
SAN MATEO, THE CITY OF DALY CITY AND OTHER
PARTIES THAT THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCIS-
CO WILL NOT PERMIT THE CONNECTION OF HICKEY
BOULEVARD STORM DRAINS TO CITY FACILITIES
BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that
WHEREAS, the City Council upon request of the Board
of Supervisors of San Mateo County is considering a pro-
posed ordinance consenting to the establishment of the
Hickey Boulevard extension as part of the County highway
system over the lands described in said ordinance, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to give notice to
the County of San Mateo, the City of Daly City and other
interested parties that the City of South San Francisco in
adopting said ordinance does not and will not consent to
the connection of storm drains to the City system in the
proposed Hickey Boulevard extension or constructed and in-
stalled to serve said extension or the areas served by
said extension or the projection of Hickey Boulevard from
the westerly boundaries of the City limits through the
Serramonte tract in Daly City;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that notice be given
to the County of San Mateo, the City of Daly City and other
interested parties that the City of South San Francisco in
adopting the ordinance entitled "ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO CONSENTING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A
PORTION OF HICKEY BOULEVARD EXTENSION WITHIN THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AS A PART OF THE COUNTY HIGHWAY
SYSTEM OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO" does not thereby con-
sent to the connection of any storm drain lines or
facilities to the City system, provided, however, that
the City Council may upon review of the development plans
of the Serramonte area reconsider the feasibility of
storm drain connections of said facilities.
