CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO AND THE INTERNATIONAL UNION OF
OPERATING ENGINEERS, LOCAL 39 DATED JULY 1, 2011
THROUGH JUNE 30, 2012
WHEREAS, staff recommends approval of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
between the City of South San Francisco and the International Union of Operating Engineers,
Local 39 dated July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the MOU was prepared by the Human Resources Department, has been
approved as to form by the City Attorney, and incorporates the agreed upon terms and conditions
of employment for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 39 unit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby approves the MOU between the City of South San
Francisco and the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 39 dated July 1, 2011
through June 30, 2012.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 22 day of
June 2011 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark Addiego and Pedro Gonzalez,
Vice Mayor Richard A. Garbarino and Mayor Kevin Mullin
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: Councilmember Karyl Matsumoto
