CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF AN AGREEMENT REGARDING PARK SITE
AND COMMON GREEN AREAS IN WESTBOROUGH -
WEST PARK UNITS I AND II
BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that:
WHEREAS, Developers, Caesar-Callan Homes, Inc.,
d.b.a. Westborough Homes, have submitted the final sub-
division map of West Park Units I and II to carry out
the development of the Planned Community District known
as "West Park", and,
WHEREAS, as part of the general development plan for
said Planned Community District, Developer on said sub-
division map has designated a park site and several common
green areas and other landscaped divider islands and de-
sires to provide for formal grant, dedication, construction
and installation of improvements and maintenance of same
as a basis for Developer's request to City that City take
the grant and dedication for said purposes, and,
WHEREAS, City is willing to take a grant of said
common green areas and a dedication of the park site and
landscaped areas, provided Developer agrees to make same
as hereinafter provided, and to construct and install the
improvements and conduct maintenance as hereinafter pro-
vided;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that:
1. Execution of the Agreement between City and De-
veloper dated as of the 31st day of August, 1964, wherein
provision is made for the grant of common green areas
and the dedication of a park site and the construc~on
and installation of improvements and the conducting of
maintenance as hereinafter provided, is hereby author-
ized, and the Mayor is authorized to execute said Agree-
ment on behalf of the City and City Clerk attests his
signature thereto.
2. Said Agreement shall not be executed by City
until Developer has executed same and submitted it to
City together with a corporate surety bond in the princi-
pal sum of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000)
to secure the performance of said Agreement.
3. Upon filing the Agreement executed by Subdivider
and a corporate surety bond as hereinbefore proposed and
the Agreement for the construction and installation of
public improvements and the corporate surety bond securing
the performance of that Agreement, the City Clerk shall
execute the City Clerk Certificate for West Park Units I
and II in order that said subdivision maps may be filed
of record.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at an adjourned regular
meeting held on the 31~t day of August , 1964 ,
by the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN Patrick E. Ahern, Frank Bertucelli,
Andrew Rocca, and Guido J. Rozzi
