CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
1964 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City
Council and published notice, bids were publicly opened,
examined and declared on the ls~ day of
19 6~ for the work to be done and the improvement to be
made as described and specified in Resolution No.
entitled "A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS,
AUTHORIZING THE WORK AND CALLING FOR BIDS ON THE IMPROVE-
MENT OF 1964 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT".
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said
proposals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and
hereby awards the contract for doing the work and im-
provements and furnishing the materials, supplies and
equipment necessary therefor, to the lowest responsible
bidder, to wit: Lowrie Paving Come--my,
at the unit prices named in their bid.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized
to make and enter into a written contract with said suc-
cessful bidder, and to authorize, receive and approve
all bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk of
said City is hereby directed to attest his signature
and affix thereto the corporate seal of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Coun-
cil of the City of South San Francisco at a re~lar
meeting held on the 8~h day of Sep~mber , 196~,
by the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN Patrick E. Ahern, Frank Bertucelli, Emilio Cortesi,
Andrew Rocca, and Guido J. Rozzi.
NOES, " None.
ABSENT, " None.
