CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT DREDG-
ING COLMA CREEK AND TRIBUTARIES 1964 -
RENTAL OF MOBILE TRUCK CRANE DRAGLINE
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Coun-
cil and published notice, bids were publicly opened,
examined and declared on the 29th day of SeDbember ,
1964 for the work to be done and the improvement to be
made as described and specified in Resolution No. 4051
entitled "A RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZING
THE WORK AND CALLING FOR BIDS ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF COLMA
CREEK AND TRIBUTARIES 1964".
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said
proposals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and
hereby awards the contract for doing the work and improve-
ments and furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment
necessary therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, to
wit: McGUIRE AND HESTER ,
for rental of mobile truck crane dragline at the unit
prices named in their bids.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized
to make and enter into a written contract with said suc-
cessful bidder, and to authorize, receive and approve all
bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk of said
City is hereby directed to attest his signature and
affix thereto the corporate seal of the City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
