CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF A
GRADING PERMIT TO CABOT, CABOT & FORBES
AND WILSEY, HAM & BLAIR
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that the Director of Public Works
having filed a report of his recommendations on the applic-
ation of Cabot, Cabot & Forbes and Wilsey, Ham & Blair
for a Grading Permit, the City Council hereby authorizes
the City Clerk to issue to them a Grading Permit to grade
the property described as the site shown on the map entitled
"Cabot, Cabot & Forbes Industrial Park, Excavation for
Merck & Co. Research Laboratory" prepared by Wilsey, Ham
& Blair Drawing No.212-O901-20-E-1 dated September 1964.
Said Grading Permit shall provide that the grading be done
in accordance with the applicants' plans, title of which
is hereinbefore recited, and the report and recommendations
of the Director of Public Works. Said Permit shall contain
provisions indemnifying and holding the City, its elective
officials, officers and employees harmless from claims,
and further requiring conduction of the grading work in a
manner that will not injure the property in the vicinity
of the land to be graded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall collect
the cost of defraying the expense of the examination and
the report by the Director of Public Works in the sum of
Ten and no/lO0 Dollars ($ 10.00 )
prior to issuing the Permit, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Pub-
lic Works shall ascertain by inspection that said grading
is performed in accordance with the Permit and upon its
completion shall file with the City Clerk a report stat-
ing the results of said inspection and certifying that
the grading has been performed in accordance with the
Permit.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the lqbhday of October , 1964
by the following vote:
