CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING RICHARD O'REGAN
WHEREAS, Richard O'Regan did on the 5th day of
January, 1965, by daring action, put his life in danger
by parking his truck broadside to block oncoming traffic
to rescue Richard Radoff, a two-year-old boy, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to commend him
for his courageous action;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco does hereby commend Richard O'Regan
for his courageous and daring action which rescued Richard
Radoff, a two-year-old boy, from possible serious injury
or death on the 5th day of January, 1965, on Bayshore
Freeway.
