A RESOLUTION GRANTING CONSENT TO ANNEXATION BY THE CITY
OF DALY CITY OF TERRITORY WITHIN THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
ANNEXATION OF SUBURBAN REALTY LANDS -
1965-1 (PARCEL I-A)
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Daly City has
heretofore duly adopted its Resolution No. 3?26 whereby it
proposes to annex certain territory to the City of Daly City;
WHEREAS, said territory is presently located within, and
is a part of, the City of South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 35304 of the Government
Code, territory included within another City may be annexed
pursuant to the "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of
1939" if the legislative body of the City within which the
territory is presently located consents to the detachment
by resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND and ORDERED, as
follows:
1. That the public interest and necessity of the
inhabitants of the City of South San Francisco and of the
owners of the lands more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference will best
be served by said lands being detached from the territorial
limits of the City of South San Francisco and by their being
included within the territorial limits of the City of Daly City
and, for such purpose, this Council does hereby consent to such
detachment.
2. That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby, directed
to file a certified copy of this resolution with the City CouncJ~
of the City of Daly City as an indication of the consent hereby
granted.
EXHIBIT "A"
ANNEXATION OF SUBURBAN REALTY LANDS -
1965-1 (PARCEL l-A)
COMMENCING at the northwesterly corner of the 94.91
acre tract allotted to John Brooks by Decree in Partition in
Action entitled, "Ansel I. Easton, et al, vs. Charles Lux,
et al," recorded in Volume l0 of Deeds, at Page l, in the
Office of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State o£
California, said point also being on the northerly boundary
line of the land conveyed to Style Kraft Homes, Inc., by Deed,
dated November 3, 1958, and recorded in Volume 3516 of Official
Records, at Page 529, Records of San Mateo County; thence from
said point of commencement North 45° 00' East along the northe~~'
line of said land conveyed to Style Kraft Homes, Inc. 175.46
feet to the point of BEGINNING; thence continuing along said
line North 45° 00' East 836.51 feet, and South 57° 45' East
281.26 feet to a point; thence northwesterly, westerly, and
southwesterly on an arc of a curve to the left, the center of
which bears South 2° 2?' 31" West 600 feet from the last men-
tioned point, with a radius of 600 feet, a central angle of
4?° 27' 31", an arc distance of 496.98 feet; thence South
45° 00' West tangent to the preceding curve 98.73 feet;
thence southwesterly on an arc of a curve to the right, tangent
to the preceding course with a radius of 840 feet, a central
angle of 25° 12' 32", an arc distance of 369.58 feet to the
point of beginning.
CONTAINING 80,502 SQ. FT.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held this 5th day of
April , 1965, by the following vote:
