CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
PUBLIC LIBRARY BUILDING AND
EMERGENCY OPKRATIN~ CENTER
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council
and published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined
and declared on the 5~h day of April , 19 ~5.
'for the work to be done and the improvement to be made as
described and specified:in the plans and specifications en-
titled "Specifications for Construction of the South San Fran-
cisco Public Library and Emergency Operating Center; and
South San Francisco Library List of Drawings Project 1061
dated 12/10/1964"
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said pro-
posals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract for doing the work and improvements and
furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment necessary
therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, at the unit pri-
ces named in their bid to wit:
Herman Christensen & Sons
100 E1Camino Real, San Carlos
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to
make and enter into a written contract with said successful
bidder, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of
the City ..............
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was re-
gularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at an adjourned reqular
meeting'held on the 12th day of April
19 65 , by the following vote: i
