CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE CITY COUNCIL'S
OPPOSITION TO ASSEMBLY BILL #346 REGARDING
GRADE CROSSING PROTECTION WORKS AND DEVICES
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The City Council hereby declares its opposition to
Assembly Bill #346, which Bill proposes an unfair method of
apportioning the cost of maintaining grade crossing protec-
tion works and devices.
2. The City Council agrees with the arguments advanced
by the Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Fresno regarding Assembly Bill #346, which Resolution was
passed on April 6, 1965, and a copy of which is attached
hereto.
3. The City Council respectfully requests that Assemb-
ly Bill #346 be rejected in its present form or referred to
an Interim Committee.
