CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING PARTICIPATION
IN THE CITY-COUNTY HIGHWAY PROGRAM
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO RE-
SOLVES, as follows:
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco believes the con-
struction of the City-County Highway System to be in the public
interest; and
WHEREAS, in order to receive County allocations as speci-
fied in, "A REPORT ON THE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF A CITY-
COUNTY HIGHWAY PLAN FOR SAN MATEO COUNTY" as adopted by the San
Mateo County Board of Supervisors on March 2, 1965, it is nec-
essary for the City to signify its desire to participate, and
to set forth its proposed projects under said program:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of South San
Francisco desires to join the City-County Road Program, and
approves the provisions of the administrative procedure enti-
tled, "A REPORT ON THE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF A CITY-
COUNTY HIGHWAY PLAN FOR SAN MATEO COUNTY," D01023-Rev., Feb.
25, 1965;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the project which the City
of South San Francisco wishes to construct under said program
is as follows:
PROJECT: Canal Street
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK PROPOSED: Canal Street--Con-
struct four-lane expressway.
APPROXIMATE COST: $2,330,000
APPROXIMATE TIME TABLE:
Commence construction within 3 years.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was re-
gularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 19~h day of April
19 65 , by the following vote:
