CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE CITY COUNCIL'S IN-
TENTION TO ESTABLISH A DUPLEX RESIDENTIAL DIST-
RICT OR R-2 DISTRICT ON THE PARCEL OF LAND AT
THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF ORANGE AND COMMERCIAL
AVENUE KNOWN AS THE MANTEGANI PARCEL AND MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that
WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to Ordinance No.353
as amended, desires to initiate an amendment to the Zoning
Ordinance, thereby establishing the classification for the
area referred to as the "Mantegani Parcel" and more parti-
cularly described herein as a Duplex Residential District
or R-2 District.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that
1. The City Council does hereby declare its intention
to establish the zoning classification for the parcel referred
to as the "Mantegani Parcel" located at the southwest corner
of Orange and Commercial Avenue, which is more particularly
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and amend Ordin-
ance No.353 as amended so as to rezone said parcel a Duplex
Residential District or R-2 District.
2. Said proposed rezoning be referred to the Planning
Commission of the City of South San Francisco for a report
and recommendation after a public hearing before said Com-
mission, duly noticed as required by law.

3. The City Clerk upon receipt of the report and
recommendation of the Planning Commission shall set a
hearing before the City Council, said hearing to be not
less than ten days after the date of filing said report
and recommendation.
