CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF
A STREET RIGHT OF WAY DESIGNATED AS OAKMONT
DRIVE IN WESTBOROUGH-WEST PARK UNIT NO.2, WHICH
DESIGNATION WAS THEREAFTER CHANGED TO CALLAN
BOULEVARD BY CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 4105
PASSED DECEMBER 21, 1964
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. This Resolution of Intention is adopted pursuant to
the Street Vacation Act of 1941.
2. The public interest and convenience require, and it
is the intention of this Council to vacate, the right of way
for street and highway purposes over a portion of Oakmont
Drive as designated on the map entitled "Westborough-West
Park Unit No.2" and recorded in Book 61 of Maps on pages 17,
18 and 19 on November 19, 1964 in San Marco County Official
Records, which designation was thereafter changed to Callan
Boulevard, on December 21, 1964 by Resolution of the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco No.4105 entitled
"A Resolution Ordering the Change of Name of a Street in
Westborough-West Park Unit No.1 and 2", which portion of
said Callan Boulevard, formerly Oakmont Drive, is more par-
ticularly described as follows:

3. Notice is hereby given that Monday, the ?th
day of Jun~ , 19 65 , at the hour of 8 o'clock
p.m., in the Council Chambers, City Hall, South San Fran-
cisco, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place
when and where all persons interested in, or having ob-
jections to, the proposed vacation of Callan Boulevard,
formerly known as Oakmont Drive, as hereinbefore described,
may appear before said Council and be heard.
4. Reference is hereby made to the map or plan en-
titled "A portion of Oakmont Drive in Westborough-West Park
Unit No.2 to be vacated", dated March 31, 1965, and the
final map entitled "Westborough-West Park~Unit No.2", re-
corded in Book 61 of Maps at pages 17, 18 and 19 of Official
San Mateo County of Records on November 19, 1964, which are
on file in the office of the City Clerk, for particulars
as to the proposed vacation.
5. Notice of the vacation of a portion of Callan Boule-
vard, formerly designated Oakmont Drive, shall be posted con-
spicuously along the line of said road or part thereof to
be vacated at least ten (10) days before the date set for
hearing, and said notice shall be posted not more than 300
feet apart, and not less than three (3) of said notices shall
be posted.
6. A copy of this Resolution shall be published once
in the "Enterprise-Journal", a newspaper of general circul-
ation, printed and published in said City within fifteen
(15) days after adoption.
