HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 4244-1965RESOLUTION NO. 1~21~ CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCOg STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE COUNCIL'S INTENTION TO ESTABLISH THE EXTENT, NATURE AND PURPOSE OF A PROPOSED STREET, CALLING FOR A REPORT FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that: 1. The Council hereby declares its intention to establish the extent, nature and purpose of a proposed street in said City and make the necessary authorizations to establish the alignment therefor and coordinate the development thereof with the County of San Mateo, which County is concerned with the portion of the improvement lying within the unincorporated area between Junipero Serra Boulevard and Camaritas Avenue in the vicinity of E1 Camino Real. 2. The Council hereby refers to the Planning Com- mission for report after public hearing, notice of time and place of which shall be published pursuant to Section 6061 of the Government Code of the State of California, a report entitled "Alignment Study for Chestnut Avenue, City of South San Francisco", dated February 1965 and prepared by George S. Nolte, Consulting Civil Engineers, Inc, 3. The Council requests that the Planning Commission complete and file a report with the City Clerk as ex- peditiously as possible. 4. The Council authorizes the City Clerk upon re- ceipt of the Planning Commission's report to set a public hearing before the Council on the matter set forth in this Resolution, the notice of time and place of which shall be published pursuant to Section 6061 of the Government Code of the State of California. 5. The Council authorizes the City Clerk to immed- Iately forward a copy of this Resolution to the Planning Commission in order that said Commission may authorize the hearing at its meeting of July 12, 1965. the City of South San Francisco at a meeting held on the 6~h day of by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of regular , 19~5 Frank J.
