CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ORDERING A CHANGE OF
THE NAME OF STREET TO FORBES BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco desires to order the change of the name of
Eccles Avenue to Forbes Boulevard from the point of its
beginning at the intersection of Eccles Avenue and Grand
Avenue to the point where it joins Forbes Boulevard, and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of South
San Francisco has recommended said change of name.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco, and it is hereby ordered,
that the street name of Eccles Avenue from the point of
its beginning at the intersection of Grand Avenue to the
point where it joins Forbes Boulevard be changed to Forbes
Boulevard, so that Forbes Boulevard shall be the name of
the full length of the street running from Grand Avenue
on the south to Oyster Point Boulevard on the north and
that part of Eccles Avenue remaining which runs off in an
easterly direction from the easterly boundary of the new-
ly named Forbes Boulevard shall retain the name of Eccles
Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
forward a copy of this Resolution to the Board of Supervi-
sors of the County of San Mateo and any other public office
required by law.
