CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREE-
MENT OF PURCHASE AND SALE WITH BETHLEHEM STEEL
CORPORATION FOR THE ACQUISITION OF A RIGHT-OF-
WAY FOR FORBES BOULEVARD WIDENING - CABOT,
CABOT & FORBES INDUSTRIAL PARK, UNIT #1
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that:
1. The Agreement of Purchase and Sale between Beth-
lehem Steel Corporation and the City of South San Francis~
co, dated May 24, 1965, providing for acquisition of a par-
cel of property approximately 30 feet in width, which is
therein described, be accepted and executed by City.
2. The Mayor of said City shall execute the Agreement
for the City.
3. The City Clerk shall, as in said Agreement pro-
vided:
a. Obtain from seller the duly executed and
acknowledged grant deed conveying the subject proper-
ty to City;
b. Obtain from seller the duly executed and
acknowledged release deed (clearing Exception 6 set
forth in Title Insurance and Trust Company Report
Redwood City #365214, dated May 3, 1965)
c. Obtain from seller or optionor a duly exe-
cuted release (clearing Exception 8 set forth in the
Title Insurance and Trust Company Report Redwood
City #365214, dated May 3, 1965)
d. Pro-rate the taxes between City and
Bethlehem Steel Corporation as of the date of
delivery of the deed.
e. Issue to seller, Bethlehem Steel Cor-
poration, a ~warrant or draft in the sum of Twelve
Thousand Sixty-Nine Dollars ($12,069.OO).
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 4th day of October
19 65 , by the following vote:
