RESOLUTION NO. 4~03
A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS -
WEST PARK UNIT NO. 1 PARKS AND
PARKWAYS MAINTENANCE DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that
W~REAS, said Council did on the 20, b day of?eptember ,
196~, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 4288 to order the
formation of a parks and parkways maintenance district in said
City which is to be designated as West Park Unit No. 1 Parks and
Parkways Maintenance D~.strict, and did therein fix the time and
place when and where said Board would hear any and all persons
interested therein;
WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of said hearing was
given in the time, form and manner provided by law and order of
this Council;
WI-~REAS, Mondsy
the hour of 8:o0 o'clock
the Is, day of Moro. tuber , 1965, at
P. Mo, Council Chambers, City Hall,
South San Francisco, California, is the time and place fixed in
said resolution when and where said Comacilwill hear said protests
and objections;
WHEREAS, no written protests and objections against
the formation of said maintenance district or to the extent there-
of, or both, have been filed with the Clerk of said City at or
before the time set for said hearing by persons interested or who
are owners of property which is subject to assessment in said
proceedings;
WHEREAS, said Council has duly heard and considered each and
all of said protests and objections and each and all persons de-
siring to be heard in connection with said matter was and were
given an opportunity to and did present their said protests and
objections, and said matters were fully presented, heard and con-
sidered by said Council; and
WHEREAS, it appears, and said Council so finds, that said
protests so filed were not filed by the owners of more than
one-half of the area of the property included within said
proposed district.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED and ORDERED that said
protests and objections be and they and each and all of them
are hereby overruled and denied.
