RESOLUTION NO. 4~,
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING APPRAISAL
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that the Board of Trustees of the South
San Francisco Unified School District is hereby respectfully
requested to employ a qualified appraiser for the purpose of
establishing the value of that portion of the property of
the South San Francisco Unified School District proposed to
be acquired by the City of South San Francisco for public
street purposes, from Chestnut Avenue easterly about 500 feet,
as shown in Engineer's Report prepared in proceedings being
conducted pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 4271,
adopted by this Council on August 16, 1965; provided, how-
ever, that any appraiser selected for the purpose of making
said appraisal shall be subject to the approval of the City
Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City hereby agrees to
advance the cost of obtaining said appraisal, provided~
that any amount advanced for such purposes may be deducted
from the acquisition price as finally determined.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held this 6th day of December, 1965,
