CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS AND DE-
CLARING RESULTS ON THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION HELD ON THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO ON APRIL 12, 1966
WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held in and
throughout the City of South San Francisco on the 12th day
of April, 1966, for the election of two (2) members of the
City Council of said City, and,
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has duly presented to the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco all the returns
of the votes cast at said municipal election, and,
WHEREAS, said City Council has inspected and examined
all said returns.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
said City that said Council finds as follows:
That the total number of votes cast in said City of
South San Francisco is Five Thousand Eight Mundred Nineteen
).
That the names of persons voted for at said general
municipal election are as follows:
(a) As regularly nominated candidates:
Patrick E. Ahern, Incumbent Councilman
Andrew Rocca, Incumbent "
Louis Belloni, Retired "
Young Han Choo, Retired Consul General "
Roy R. Ghilardi, Assistant Building Inspector "
James S.'Petty, Real Estate Broker "
Warren Steinkamp, Chairman Planning Commission "
None
As write-in candidates:
RESULTS OF SAID MUNICIPAL ELECTION
That the record of the votes cast at said municipal
election in favor of said candidates, as shown by the
official count at each of the several precincts established
throughout said City by said City Council for the purpose
of conducting said election is shown on Exhibit A attached
hereto, the same being a tabulation of the votes by pre-
cincts.
That the votes cast at said general municipal election
in favor of said candidates by absentee ballot as shown at
the official count are as follows:

Louis Belloni

Roy R. Ghilardi
James S. Petty

That the totals of the various votes cast at said gener-
al municipal election in favor of the several candidates

That the City Council of said City hereby declares as
follows:
That Patrick E. Ahem and Andrew Rocca were duly elect-
ed at said municipal election as members of the City Council
of said City;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of said
City shall, and he is hereby ordered to, issue Certificates
of Election to Patrick E. Ahem and Andrew Rocca as members
of the City Council of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco held in accordance with applicable
sections of the Elections Code requiring canvass of returns
and issuance of certificates, and further in accordance with
applicable sections of the Government Code regarding organi-
zation of the City Council held this 19th day of April, 1966,
by the following vote:
