CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TIME FOR RECEIPT
OF CATV APPLICATIONS AND THE FORMAL PRESENT-
ATION OF SUPPLEMENTAL DATA AND STATEMENTS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that:
1. Applications for a franchise, privilege, permit,
license or other authorization to construct, operate and
maintain a CATV system in the City of South San Francisco
may be filed on or before May 30, 1966
at 5 p.m. in the office of the City Mana§er of said City.
2. Applications shall substantially comply with the
provisions of the proposed ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PROVIDING FOR THE GRANT-
ING OF FRANCHISES FOR COMMUNITY ANTENNA TELEVISION SYSTEMS;
PROVIDING TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE OPERATION OF SUCH
COMMUNITY ANTENNA TELEVISION SYSTEMS AND FEES THEREFOr',
which was introduced on May 16, 1966, and requirements
issued by the office of the City Manager in accordance with
Council authorization.
3. Monday, June 13, 1966, at 8 o'clock p.m., in
the Council Conference Room, City Hall, South San Francisco,
California, is hereby set as the time, place and date for
the following purposes:
(a) Formal submission of the applications by
the City Manager to the City Council
(b) Formal presentation by the appplicants of
supplemental data and statements in support of the
applications

4. The City Council will consider applications and
the supplemental data and City Council will submit the
applications together with supplemental data and statements
for the purpose of determinin§ whether a franchise, privi-
le§e, permit, license or other authorization to construct,
operate and maintain a CATV system in the City of South
San Francisco should be granted and the terms and conditions
upon which same should be granted.
5. The City Council within sixty (60) days after June
13, 1966, will file a notice of determination to grant or
not to grant a franchise including in said notice the pro-
posed terms and conditions upon which said franchise shall
be granted. The Council may extend the time for filing said
notice.
6. The Ordinance heretofore referred to is on file
in the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, South San Fran-
cisco, California.
