CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ACQUISITION
OF A PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY BY THE
COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR WESTBOROUGH
BOULEVARD EXTENSION
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that
WHEREAS, the Joint Powers Agreement between the City
of South San Francisco and the County of San Mateo dated
May 17, 1966 provides for approval of City prior to ac-
quisition of the parcels within City boundaries for the
Westborough Boulevard Extension, and
WHEREAS, County has submitted for said approval the
proposed acquisition from California Golf Club of a parcel
containing O.163 acres for Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000)
based on an appraisal by Ralph F. Clark, M.A.I., entitled
"Appraisal Report - California Golf Club #206-872, dated
April 6, 1966", and
WHEREAS, City after considering said proposal desires
to approve same in accordance with the terms of said Joint
Powers Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that
1. The City of South San Francisco does hereby approve
the acquisition by the County of San Marco for the West-
borough Boulevard Extension from the California Golf Club
a parcel containing 0.163 acres for the sum of Twenty
Thousand Dollars ($20,000), said approval being given in

accordance with the terms of the Joint Powers Agreement
between City and County dated May 17, 1966.
2. The O.163 acre parcel is more particularly de-
scribed as follows (plat of which entitled "Proposed R/W
To Be Acquired Westborough Boulevard Improvement Project"
dated 4/6/66 is attached hereto as Exhibit "A":
BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the
Easterly line of West Orange Avenue with the
approximate center line of Twelve Mile Creek
as said point of intersection is shown upon
"Record of Survey of Proposed Extension of
Camaritas Avenue through Lot A of Map entitled
Rancho Buri Buri" filed in Volume 3 of Licensed
Land Surveyors Maps at page 56, San Mateo Coun-
ty Records; THENCE from said Point of Beginning
along the center of said Twelve Mile Creek as
said center is described in that certain Bound-
ary Line Agreement recorded March 8, 1948, in
Book 1456 of Official Records of San Mateo Coun-
ty at Page 234 (1943-H), North 80o 29' 34" East

.14 feet and South 84o 33' 26" East 114.54 feet;
THENCE leaving said center of Twelve Mile Creek,
Southwesterly, along the arc of a curve to the
right, tangent to a line which bears South 66°
15' 33" West, said curve having a radius of 650.00
feet and a central angle 5° 32~ 07", a distance
of 62.80 feet; THENCE South 71° 47' 40" West
1OO.OO feet; THENCE along the arc of a curve to
the left, tangent to the preceding course, said
curve havin~ a radius of 40.00 feet and a central
angle of 72u 29' 26", a distance of 50.61 feet to
the Easterly line of said West Orange Avenue;46,'
THENCE along said Easterly line North 0° 41'
West 91.64 feet to the Point of Beginning, con-
taining O.163 acres more or less.
3. This Resolution shall be effective upon Ordinance
No.549 entitled "An Ordinance of the City of South San Fran-
cisco Consenting to the Establishment of a Portion of
Westborough Boulevard Within the City of South San Francis-
co as Part of a County Highway System of the County of
San Marco", passed the 13th day of June, 1966, taking effect.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Coun-
cil of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 20th day of
