CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PROCEDURE FOR
MAINTAINING COMPILATION OF AMENDMENTS TO
ORDINANCES
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that the following procedure is here-
by established for maintaining the compilation of amend-
ments to City Ordinances:
1. The City Attorney shall file a master copy of
the compilation with the City Clerk so that duplicate
copies may be made therefrom for distribution.
2. The City Clerk shall distribute copies to City
officers and employees, which copies should be numbered
and dated as of the date of distribution. A log or register
shall be maintained showing the number of the copy, name
of distributee and date of delivery so that correction
sheets may be accurately distributed.
3. The City officer or employee receiving correction
sheets shall insert same in his copy of the compilation.
4. Copies sold to interested parties shall have the
date of distribution endorsed on the copy. Persons so ac-
quiring copies are advised that the compilation is subject
to correction on the adoption of amending ordinances and
copies of the correction sheets will be available upon pay-
ing the required fee to the City Clerk.
5. When an ordinance is passed amending the Zoning
Ordinance, the City Attorney shall prepare a correction

sheet together with instructions and forward same to
the City Clerk for duplication and immediate distribution
to the holders of the registered copies. The correction
sheets shall be in format similar to those sheets present-
ly in the compilation.
