CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE THAT
PORTION OF ALLERTON AVENUE LYING OUTSIDE
THE STREET AND HIGHWAY EASEMENT DEDICATED
BY FINAL MAP IN CABOT, CABOT & FORBES IN-
DUSTRIAL PARK UNIT #1
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco as follows:
1. This Resolution of Intention is adopted pursu-
ant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941.
2. The public interest and convenience requires,
and it is the intention of this Council to vacate that
portion of a street and highway easement known as Aller-
ton Avenue, which portion lies outside the boundaries of
Allerton Avenue as dedicated by the Final Map entitled
"Cabot, Cabot & Forbes Industrial Park Unit #1" recorded
in the Official Records of San Marco County in Volume 61
pages 45, 46, 47, 48 and 49 on February 26, 1965, File
21282Y.
3. The public interest, convenience and necessity
require the reservation of easements and right of way here-
inafter set forth and the vacation proceedings are taken
subject to such reservations and. exceptions. The City
tends to and does reserve and except from the vacation the
following:
Those easements designated as P.U.E. (Public Util-
ity Easements) used for public utility and public service
purposes as shown on the Final Map entitled "Cabot, Cabot
& Forbes Industrial Park Unit #1" recorded in the Official
Records of San Marco County in Volume 61 pages 45, 46, 47,

48 and 49 on February 26, 1965, File #21282Y.
4. Notice is hereby given that Tuesday, the 3rd
day of J~nuar¥ , 19 6%, at 8:00 p'clock p.m. in
the Council Chambers, City Hall, South San Francisco, is
hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all
persons interested in, or having objections to, the pro-
posed vacation of that portion of the street and highway
easement known as Allerton Avenue as hereinbefore described
may appear before said Council and be heard.
5. Reference is hereby made to the map or plan en-
titled "Final Map - Cabot, Cabot & Forbes Industrial Park
Unit #1" recorded in the Official Records of San Marco
County in Volume 61, pages 45, 46, 47, 48 and 49 on Febru-
ary 26, 1965, File #21282Y.
6. Notice of intention to vacate said portion of the
street and highway easement known as Allerton Avenue shall
be posted conspicuously along the line of said road or part
thereof to be vacated at least ten (10) days before the
date set for hearing, and said notice shall be posted not
more than 300 feet apart and not less than three (3) of
said notices shall be posted.
7. A copy of this Resolution shall be published once
in the "Enterprise Journal", a newspaper of general circul-
ation printed and published in said City within fifteen
(15) days after adoption.

regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
